Valve jobs & seat machining.
A valve job machines the seats, guides, and valve faces as one system, so every valve seals on a concentric seat and the port flows the way the engine needs it to.

01 / The Process
Valve seat machining cuts precise, concentric sealing angles into each seat, referenced directly off the valve guide centerline. A standard three-angle job establishes the seat plus top and throat angles. Performance builds get additional blend angles to improve flow into and out of the seat.
We also handle the supporting work that makes a seat last: machining worn guides back to correct stem clearance, and installing hardened seat inserts where an older casting needs them for unleaded fuel or higher operating temperatures.
02 / Why It Matters
An engine breathes through its seats.
Seat concentricity decides whether a valve seals at cranking speed and lives at operating temperature. The seat is also the valve's primary heat path into the head, so a poor seat does not just leak, it burns valves. Done right, a valve job restores compression and picks up airflow at the same time.

Verified before it ships
Seats are checked for runout against the guide centerline and vacuum tested to confirm seal before the head leaves the shop.
